Update 1 - Day 1 Ministry
A big hello from beautiful Baguio!! We just got back from
our first day of ministry here in the area, and it was a really
encouraging day! After settling in to the place we'll be
staying for the week, we spent the day ministering to
three very small congregations that are overseen by
Pastor Efron, one of the NPWM partners here. I taught from
the word at a couple of them and we spent time praying and
prophesying over people at all of them. People were being
deeply touched and the pastors seemed very encouraged. We
prayed for physical healing for 10 people and almost all
of them experienced significant measures of
healing. Praise the LORD!!!
Tomorrow we'll be ministering at Pastor Martin's church (our main
NPWM contact here) in the morning and at a government high school
in the afternoon. Please pray
for:
- Danny as he preaches at the high school. He'll be
preaching the Gospel and we'll be going for it there. Pray
that every heart is prepared and ready to receive the message and
that the Spirit moves POWERFULLY through that time.
- For our ministry time at Pastor Martin's church. That the
Spirit would move freely and that healing on all levels would
sweep across the church.
- For the team, that God would keep us healthy (we've all been
relatively healthy up until this point - although Caleb's been
struggling a bit with his sinuses), unified and filled with His
Spirit!
AND, one praise report that might sound a bit odd - before we
left on Sunday, three of the sisters on our team expressed
serious concerns that their bladders would not be able to hold
out for the bus ride from Manila to Baguio (8 hours with only a
couple of stops). But, we prayed for them before we left
and they've all expressed that their bladders have been
GREAT! Hallelujah!! The LORD cares about our
bladders. Anyway, I need to run. Thank you for
praying and I'll update you all again soon!!
