Dear Friends,
Hi, there! Hope you are doing well in this winter season, keeping warm and safe!
From Feb 7 to Feb 14, I will be in Dumaguete, Philippines serving on a missions trip with my church ‘New Philadelphia’ (www.newphiladelphiachurch.com), which is based in Seoul, Korea. Including myself, my team consists of 12 missions-minded people, who have given their time and vacation days as an offering to the Lord to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ in Dumaguete.
Recently, the Philippines was hit by an earthquake and a typhoon, which resulted in many deaths, destroying many homes and communities. The immediate relief work has already been implemented through various humanitarian efforts. However, the nature of this trip is not to bring physical aid to Dumaguete, but rather to bring the healing power of the gospel. We hope to bring inner restoration and lasting hope to the brokenhearted by leading outreach and revival services. We also hope to empower the local brothers and sisters, and to proclaim God’s peace that surpasses mere human understanding.
Since coming to Korea, God has encountered me powerfully. This is the first missions trip I am going on as a response of the grace He has revealed in my life. If you would like to hear my testimony, I would gladly like to share with you!
I would like to ask you to partner with me in two ways. Firstly,
in prayer. I believe your prayers are powerful and will help make
lasting influence in bearing good fruit. Secondly, I would like
to ask you to partner with me financially. I will be raising
1,200,000 KRW which will cover entire cost of the trip, and of
that amount I will be funding 600,000 KRW. I will need to raise
the remaining 600,000 KRW/$ 4416.60
