Dear friends and family,
From 26th till 31st December, 2016 I will be going to Colombo, Sri Lanka with New Philadelphia Church. Eleven of us from the Sydney, Seoul and Busan New Philly campuses will be coming together to represent our church under NPWM (Native Pastors for World Missions) for the first time in Sri Lanka.
Our team will be ministering at gatherings in the capital city of Colombo and at remote village churches on the east coast. The highlight of the trip will be in holding a joint revival service with youth from across the country.
The theme of 2016 has been one of “Faith and Promise.” It has been a stretching process in believing God’s goodness and His steadfast love in all areas of my life. Almost two years have passed since being established into the Sydney New Philly family and much has happened! It is through the support and love of this community that I have been empowered to learn to trust and have confidence with God, people and myself. Having received much, I feel that God is calling me to be further established in these areas, through serving on missions by helping build God’s church in Sri Lanka, and their youth.
I hope that you would consider partnering with me on this missions trip. What would be most needed are your prayers. We will be providing daily updates on the New Philly Facebook page while we are in Sri Lanka for you to get a gauge of what is happening, and be aware of how you can pray for us. I will also be raising AU$1,650 (after my personal contribution) to cover some of the trip expenses.
