Thank you for taking the time to read this letter! I wanted to share with you about the summer missions trip that I am embarking on.
A team of 15 people are going on a mission’s trip to Thailand from July 27-August 3rd 2012. We are going with our church New Philadelphia, (www.newphiladelphiachurch.com). The purpose of our trip is to share God's word with the people of Thailand. Our team will also be working with the children's ministries, praying for the sick and hosting revival services.
I am looking to partner with you in an effort to fundraise for this great event. Recently, God has highlighted this scripture verse to me.
"Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it. And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee. And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and though shalt know that I am the LORD. (Ezekiel 22: 14-16)
The Lord has been divinely working in my life. He has a great plan for the nation of Thailand, and I believe that he requires me to take a step of Faith that He may, "...scatter [me] among the heathen, and disperse [me] in the countries.” I am willing to move forward in faith to obey and execute the calling of the Lord. We have heard of so many great things happening in Thailand. God has his hand on this country. God wants unity and peace among his people. I believe this trip will aid in fulfilling His promises.
There are two ways you can partner with us in preparation for our trip to Thailand. The first is through prayer: I am in need of prayer partners who will cover me each day until I return. Please email me if you would like to partner in this way. The second method is through finances. I will need to fundraise 500,000 KRW to cover the remaining cost of the trip.
