Hello,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying sweetness and faithfulness of our God! I wanted to take this chance to tell you about a missions trip that I have the opportunity to be involved with this summer.
From July 27 – August 3, I will be in Thailand with a team from New Philadelphia Church, which is the church I’ve been serving at as the Worship Pastor (www.newphilly.cc). The team is made up of 15 New Philadelphia members who will be giving up their time to minister in a variety of ways. I will be serving as one of the team's preachers and as the team praise leader.
This is an exciting opportunity for us! Thailand is a country that is still dominantly Buddhist, but there have been a number of developments in the church in the country over the past decade. I had the opportunity to lead a team of high school students on a missions trip to Thailand in 2007 and was able to witness firsthand the doors that had been opened for the Gospel since the tsunami devastated parts of the country in 2004. Indeed God is doing a NEW THING in Thailand, and God calls us there to represent Him in releasing His heart for the people there!
