Dear Family and Friends,
I hope all is well. It is my pleasure to share with you that I will be heading out on my first missions trip! I had originally planned to go back home for summer, but I felt a strong call to delay the trip and instead go with my “family” here in Korea on an adventure. So from July 27th to August 3rd I will be going on Summer Missions with New Philadelphia Church to Thailand!!!
I came to Korea about a year ago in June 2011. It was a HUGE struggle for me and I cried almost every day for the first 6 months, feeling so lost and stripped of everything I had. Little did I know, God had sent me here to grow immensely not only in my faith, but as a strong individual firm in her identity. In the year I have been here, God has flipped my perspective 180 degrees and shown me who I really am: strong, desired, powerful, and effective. Moments of happiness that I can engage in and experience, have entered my life once again. The Holy Spirit has restored laughter in my life one thousand fold, and has revealed to me that God is not a holy figure who is unreachable, but a loving Father who reaches down and loves on us and who accepts us for who we are. My desire is now to spread the love and joy of the Father around the world.
In Thailand, our team of 15 members will be heading to Bangkok to hold revival services, minister to the people there, and release supernatural miracles through the power of the Holy Spirit. I would like to invite you to partner with me in this journey. I need support in both prayer and finances to spread the supernatural heart of joy like peanut butter. Please partner with me in prayer for the joy, love, and word to spread like peanut butter with rich with nutrients. I will need to raise a total of 1.2 mil Korean Won: 700,000 KRW (approx. US$615) will be raised by support and 500,000 Korean won is contributed from my personal budget. Lets watch God move. I would greatly appreciate your support in prayer and finances, as this will be one of the most challenging yet exciting journeys of my life, both personally and spiritually.
