“And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Dear Family and Friends,
I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ that this letter finds you and your family exactly where you need to be—in His almighty hands! If I could summarize what I have learned in Korea with a single sentence, it would have to be: God is good all the time! Even in my moments of doubt and pain, I have persevered by faith in Romans 8:28, that He is good and that He is working for my good in all things.
I am contacting you because it is missions season once again! As I shared with many of you in person, my mission trip to Malaysia last summer was phenomenal, but I believe that God has even greater things in store for this year! From July 27 to August 3, I will be in Thailand with fourteen other lovers of Jesus to proclaim boldly the power of God’s love and grace. Thailand is not a country with a strong Christian influence, but our church believes that God is moving powerfully there during this time. My missions team will be leading revival services, doing street evangelism, and engaging the local churches and communities in whatever ways God’s Spirit leads. In particular, I’m hoping to see God minister powerfully to the sick. Expecting the miraculous might sound naïve or even arrogant, but the first recorded instruction we have in the Bible from Jesus to his disciples is found in Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” As Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” I believe it is time to recognize that Christ hasn’t changed; our understanding of what He can and wants to do has!
Hoping that you will share in my enthusiasm for what God wants to do in Thailand, I could really use your prayer support during this time. Please pray that Acts 10:38 would be the mantle for my ministry in Thailand, and that my team would be defined by the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22). Additionally, I need to raise 950,000krw (about $950) to cover the remainder of my trip costs.
