Shalom! How are you? I trust God is continually blessing you and your family! I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you my plans for this summer.
From July 27th to August 3rd, I will be in Japan serving on a missions trip with my church “New Philadelphia” (www.newphiladelphiachurch.com). My team consists of thirteen servant-hearted people who are giving up their vacation days and free time to spread the love of Jesus Christ. The main focus of our ministry will be evangelism and outreach in the Tokyo area, in addition to building deeper relationships with the local ministries New Philadelphia has visited before on previous missions trips. Last year’s summer missions team saw many precious testimonies of salvations and people experiencing God’s love. I’m excited to continue to build upon the work of both last year’s New Philly team and my one-year missions with Campus Crusade for Christ the year prior. I always knew God would bring me back to Japan; I just had no idea it would be so soon. My heart still burns for the wind of God to breathe life into this nation! God loves Japan!
According to the Joshua Project, Japan’s primary religion is Buddhism at 68.7% with a 2.2% Christian population. Japan is also one of the top nations leading in suicides and depression. Will you join me in reaching Japan? There are two ways in which you can partner with me on this missions trip. First, I’d like to ask you for PRAYER. Secondly, the total trip cost is 1,000,000 KRW but after my personal contribution, I will be raising 750,000 KRW to cover the rest.
