Dear friends and family,
Konichiwa! I am writing this letter to tell you guys an awesome journey I will be going on this July 27—August 3. I will be going to Tokyo, Japan this summer with New Philadelphia Church for missions. My team will consist of 13 members who desire to pour out God’s love in the nation of Japan. I would like to ask you to join me in my journey!
Because I always had visa restrictions back home in California, I was never allowed to go outside of the United States. I planned to go to Massachusetts after high school but God paved a powerful way for me to come back to Seoul. I’ve been living here in Korea for only four months now and God has given me the opportunity to go to Tokyo this summer. I can finally take advantage of the freedom to go abroad and I’m beyond excited for what is to come.
When I arrived in Korea four months ago, God placed a very special Bible verse in my heart: “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.” (Acts 23:11) I believe that He placed this verse in my heart because He wants me to courageously testify about what He has been faithfully doing in my life wherever I go. He has been leading me through greater levels of love, healing, joy, peace, and freedom. For the first time, I’m living life knowing that I was always meant to be someone free in Christ Jesus. I believe that God will use every part of me to testify to His power and freedom in Tokyo. My team and I will be sharing the Gospel through street evangelism and outreach. Because I know what it truly means to be free, I desire to share with the people in Japan the Truth that will set their lives free.
I am beyond excited to embark on this journey and I want you to join me. There are two ways you can join with me on this mission trip. First, I greatly need prayer support.
