Hello,
I hope that this letter finds you and your family doing well. I wanted to take some time to share with you about a missions trip that I will be serving in this summer.
As you know, Brock and I are currently living in South Korea. After some searching, we have found a wonderful church here in Seoul - New Philadelphia (newphiladelphiachurch.com). Through our involvement in the church, we have been given the awesome opportunity to go on a missions trip this summer and to bring the good news and freedom of Jesus to others.
We are going to Tokyo, Japan from July 27 - August 3. We would love for you to join with us as we bring Christ to the nations. Our team consists of 13 beautiful people who are giving their hearts and summer vacations to bring Christ's love to others.
To give you an idea about Tokyo, it is the capital of Japan and has just over 13 million people living there. It has been described as one of the three "command centers" for the world economy. Therefore, we are very excited about how God can effect one city and in turn change the world. While we are there, we will be ministering to the local people through prayer walks and evangelism. We will also be building deeper relationships with the two local congregations that New Philadelphia has visited before on previous missions trips. We hope to continue to be a blessing to them. There are two ways that you can join with me. First, we need your prayers! The prayers of God's people move mountains and bring blessings. We are looking for both! We want God to move and your prayers affect that. The second way you can join with us is through giving. The total cost of the trip is 1,000,000 KRW and after my personal contribution, I am looking to raise 500,000 KRW ( about $500) for this trip. Although this may not seem like much, it is still a step of faith to see God show up and to bring provision. You can help in being a part of that provision.
