Dear Friend,
How have you been? I hope this letter finds you well, healthy, and happy. As you know, I have been living in Korea for over 2 years, and I have been enjoying my time here to the fullest. The Lord has been growing and teaching me many things here, and He has provided me with various opportunities, one of which I would like to share with you today.
This summer, I will be sent on a missions trip with New Philadelphia Church (newphiladelphiachurch.com) to the nation of Japan. As you may already know, ever since college, I have been interested in the Japanese language. Through that, God has opened my eyes to the nation of Japan and has given me a heart for the Japanese people.
From July 27th to August 3rd, our team will be evangelizing in the city of Tokyo, as well as building deeper relationships with the local congregations. Our team consists of 13 servant-hearted people who are giving up a week of their vacation to share the love of Christ with the Japanese people. One week may seem short, but there is so much that God can do in such a short amount of time. God loves the nation of Japan and He has great plans for them.
This is an exciting time and I hope you will share in my enthusiasm. There are two ways in which you can partner with me on this missions trip. First, I’d like to ask you for your prayers. Your prayers are powerful and effective, and they will be key in doing God’s Kingdom work. Secondly, the total cost of the trip is 1,000,000 KRW and I need to raise 500,000 KRW as I have personally contributed 500,000 KRW.
