I’m excited to tell you about a trip I will be taking to Vietnam, from January 9th until the 16th with my church “New Philadelphia”, with a team of 12 church members and leaders. We will be going to the city of Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang to partner with Brother Sang Ho, a well-established businessman with great connections that uses his business to fund churches and ministries of Vietnam. Together, we will be ministering to the local church communities and the youth.
Vietnam is a relatively new nation our church has entered into partnership with. Our first visitation was just a year ago, but even then, we were able to create a strong bond over our pursuit of people encountering God. Crazy testimonies were birthed from that first trip, with the youth experiencing revival, local communities witnessing the power in forgiveness, random, yet divine appointments with a Nigerian church, and families that have received Christ as their Lord and Savior for the first time breaking down altars for other gods in their homes as a public act of declaring God’s sovereignty over their household. If that was what happened on the first visit, I can’t imagine how much more God will show us and do through us this time!
As you can see, I am very excited and expectant about this trip. Another reason for my enthusiasm is that this missions trip will be the beginning of a new chapter as I will be entering into full time ministry!
