Greetings!
I hope this letter finds you in a season where you are experiencing a greater depth and breadth of God’s love for you. I’m excited to share and invite you to journey with me this upcoming summer season in which I have the honour and privilege of going out to West Papua from the 11th of January to the 22nd.
I have the privilege to return to West Papua after five years. My first New Philly missions trip was to West Papua back in 2010! This was a trip marked by supernatural healings (110+ recorded), mass revival services, and a time of exhorting local church leaders.
This time around, an area in which I’m contending to see breakthrough is that the already established leaders at the local churches will experience a renewal of a greater zeal to build the house of the Lord. Jesus was upset that the temple was not being used as a sanctuary for God in the verse above. West Papua is a nation plagued by a lot of idolatry and witchery (last time we went, we had an altar call for church leaders/members dabbling in witchery to come forth and repent!) It’s very clear God desires His house to be a holy one and when our zeal to see that come to fruition is at a dwindling low, mixture can take place.
Being on a church plant team for the past couple of years, I know what it feels like to sometimes lose the zeal to build the house of the Lord. But in this season, God has really been etching on my heart that He is worthy of it all. With that said, would you consider prayerfully and/or financially supporting me with this trip? Our current support raising goal is set at 1,800,000 KRW (after my personal contribution) which is roughly 1,900 AUD but more than that, I covet your prayers.
· Pray that we will see the fire of God fall down and that people will feel renewed and strengthened.
· Pray for supernatural team unity! The Sydney and Korea team will be physically meeting each other, for the first time for many of us, in West Papua!
· Pray that the zeal to build God’s house will consume all of us.
