It is with overflowing joy and excitement that I share with you the exciting new ways God will move in the nations this summer. From July 26-Aug 2, I will be joining a Spirit-filled team of 12 mighty men and women on a missions trip to General Santos, Philippines.
Last winter, I went on my first missions trip to the Pampanga area and Angeles City in the Philippines where the Holy Spirit was poured out. Our team witnessed healings, manifestations of the Holy Spirit, and new relationships with the local pastors. I was especially blessed to develop a sweet friendship with Pastor Ibay’s daughter, Caren. It was very clear to me that the Lord has a mighty plan to establish this nation from a missions field into a missions base and that there is a high calling on the Filipino youth.
I hope you share in my enthusiasm as I return to the Philippines this summer! This time around, our focus will be leading an Orientation Retreat for the students of Faith Bible Institute. We will be releasing the inheritance of New Philly to strengthen these students and further establish them in their calling! We will also be ministering with these students at services in the General Santos area. It’s going to be POWERFUL and LIFE-CHANGING!
In my prayers and time with the Lord for this trip, He has been speaking to me about faith and love. Faith that confounds my personal experiences, faith that is drawn from the Word of God, faith that moves God’s heart, faith that believes in the impossible. Specifically, I am being challenged to have faith for physical healing—my own healing for an unexplainable breathing condition I’ve had for many months and for God to use me to heal others. God has also been challenging me to be marked by love—love for my team, the team leader, the preaching pastor, and every person we meet on this trip—the kind of love and humility that has the power to melt away the enemy’s schemes. I believe that faith and love will be powerful and unexpected keys to win hearts to Jesus and set His people free on this trip to General Santos.
