Hello and blessings to you!

It has only been a few months since I have joined New Philadelphia Church, but it feels like it has been years. This spring has been one of the best and most fulfilling times in my life. I cannot thank God enough for bringing me to Korea and to this amazing church!

Throughout January and February, I spent much of my time snowboarding, partying, teaching, doing Hapkido (Korean martial arts), and listening to NPC sermons. After listening to a couple of sermons in particular, I was convicted that it was time to join a church and get covering! In the last week of February, I felt that God was telling me to go and make New Philly my home. So, I went to church that Sunday and told Pastor Christian (PC) that I intended to make New Philly my home. As it takes commitment and intimacy to have a home and a family, I let him know right there that I planned on serving.

In the following week, I felt like God was telling me that I was going to go through a season of change and that PC would be my spiritual father guiding me through this season. I told PC and was welcomed gladly into relationship and into the church. Three months later, I can profess that I have changed profoundly.

In joy, I quickly began to search for the Lord in everything that I did. I joined all kinds of events - a small group, membership with NPC, leadership training, prayer team and I'm going on my first mission this summer!

God has poured out tremendous favour, gifts, blessings and provision in all aspects of my life. I am excited to see what God will do in, my life and in those around me, in the days to come. The greatest gift of all of this is the relationship I now have with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It's a true blessing.

I am thoroughly enjoying working at my private school in downtown Seoul and am currently working out contract details to stay in Korea for another year. I have met so many amazing people and have experienced so many new things working and traveling here in Korea.

Thank you for taking the time to look further into what I am up to! I hope that you are strengthened and encouraged in hearing all that is happening in my life!
